Chandra Alexandria Williams

Chandra Williams is an artist, educator, and community healer. Transformation is the gift she brings to communities. Williams teaches, organizes and speaks about processes of creating change with a focus on the role of arts in creating widespread social and cultural change.

Williams holds a BFA in Printmaking and Drawing from Washington University in St.Louis with additional concentrations in Critical Theory and Community Education.

​

Williams is an avid drawing teacher and the creator of Follow the Edge, a method of teaching observational drawing which activates right-brain awareness for a variety of benefits including training professionals in the field of autism and facilitating diversity trainings.

​

Williams currently serves as Executive Director of Crossroads Cultural Arts Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
